Radiotherapy is a core part of modern cancer treatment and is second only to surgery in its effectiveness in treating cancer. About 40% of cancer patients who are cured receive radiotherapy cancer treatment.

A27 Chichester bypass current status

The A27 Chichester bypass is one of 32 schemes identified by the Department for Transport (DfT) and National Highways for possible future funding.

Gillian works to support rural communities and businesses. Gillian represents a large part of the South Downs National Park and coastline from Chichester Harbour AONB to the Pagham Nature reserve that includes the Port of Selsey.

Gillian lent her support for the campaign to save the Tangmere air control tower at Tangmere airfield. The Tangmere airfield is of great historical significance to the area, having been instrumental in the Battle of Britain during World War 2.

Gillian has been working to address homelessness in the Chichester area. Gillian has championed this issue nationally in her former role on the Public Accounts Select Committee.

Gillian has been working to secure more funding in schools across the Chichester constituency.
