Inflation falls to its lowest level in two and a half years

Gillian welcomed the fantastic news for people in Chichester that inflation has fallen again, according to the Office for National Statistics.

It’s now 3.2%, the lowest it has been in over two and a half years. Food inflation is down, wages have grown and energy bills are down.

Gillian hails Government crackdown on retail crime

Since 2010 crime, excluding fraud, has been cut by 55 per cent. However there is still works to be done and Gillian is aware that shop workers and keepers in Chichester continue to be impacted by theft, abuse and violence.

Update following flooding at Bracklesham

Following Storm Kathleen and last night's flooding at Medmerry Park and Bracklesham Caravan and Boat Club there is currently a multi-agency response underway to ensure residents, the two sites, as well as the beach at Bracklehsam, are safe and secure.
