Gillian recently caught up with Katy Bourne, our local Police and Crime Commissioner, to discuss the concerns of residents in Chichester around crime.
Gillian sometimes get reports of anti-social behaviour, including concerns regarding recent traveller activity in carparks around the city centre. Gillian and Katy take this very seriously, and neighbourhood policing teams have stepped up patrols in hotspot areas to act as a deterrent to criminals.
In addition, since 2019 over 500 more officers have joined Sussex Police thanks to the Government's national recruitment drive. This means more police on our streets helping to keep you safe.
