During this challenging time, we’re doing everything we can to help you, to ensure you can travel if you need to, to give you the latest service updates and to ensure the cleanliness of our trains and stations.
As the situation is changing regularly, we strongly advise you to always check before you travel. Information on rail services throughout the country is available on the National Rail website, and the latest advice on Coronavirus is available from the NHS website.
Important timetable information
Revised Timetable
Gatwick Express, Great Northern, Southern, and Thameslink are introducing a revised timetable as the rail industry works together to manage and protect services for key workers getting to and from their place of work. Services are for essential travel only.
With significant reductions to the number of people travelling; and as staff sickness and self-isolation starting to rise, we will be introducing this revised timetable from Monday 23 March and it will run until further notice. This is being done to ensure we are able run a service during the prolonged Coronavirus outbreak.
From Monday 23 March: we will run a reduced service across Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern and Gatwick Express. The amended timetable will be available in online journey planners by Sunday 22 March.
From Monday 30 March: service will be reduced further across Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern and Gatwick Express. The amended timetable will be available in online journey planners by Sunday 29 March.
