Second taskforce meeting goes ahead

The Antisocial Driving Taskforce met again to offer updates on their work to date.

Many of the PCs on the group had successfully established speed watch groups and/or expanded their existing ones. It was reported by those on the call that there is an increase in local engagement with the issue.

Gillian team fed back her work to date which included bringing the issue to the attention of the Chief Constable of Sussex Police, and Police and Crime Commissioner, Katy Bourne.

Her office also fed back some of the research attained, on existing legislation regarding the enforcement and police powers.
