Gillian Keegan MP joined the Chichester City Remembrance Service. She was part of the civic parade, who walked from the Council House on North Street, Down East Street to the memorial monument in Litten Gardens.
The MP joined the Vice Lord-Lieutenant, the Mayor of Chichester, Chairman of Chichester District Council and the Chairman of West Sussex County Council in laying wreaths at the memorial.
There was a full service in the gardens lead by the Mayor's Chaplin. The civic parade then processed back where they observed the full parade comprised of representatives from the armed forces, police, ambulance, scouts and veterans, to name just some of those who took part.
Gillian said: 'It was an honour and a privilege to be included in the Chichester City Remembrance service this morning. What a beautiful crisp morning for us all to come together to remember all those who have given so much for our freedom. It was amazing to see the unity of thought and prayer in Chichester, and across the UK, as we all pay our respects to the brave men and women who have given their lives for us.'
