Gillian Keegan MP visited Harting CE Primary School on Friday 15th June. The Chichester MP was shown around to school by two pupils and told about each year group and what the pupils are studying. The Chichester MP was introduced to each of the year groups class pets.
Gillian held a public meeting at Bracklesham Barn to meet with constituents. She held a Q&A and was asked questions on many issues including the A27, congestion on local roads and environmental management.
Chichester is a very rural area with a large elderly population and as a consequence many of our communities and individuals are at risk of becoming isolated. To tackle this, we are lucky to have a thriving network of local and community transport.
Many constituents have been in touch to ask questions about how the representatives of the Build a Better A27 (BABA27) group have been decided or because they have been told that they will not be able to attend the community meetings at this point in the process.
